7v7+
This is league based 7 on 7 non-contact football, with a twist...
In traditional play their are 7 players on each side of the ball but, only 3 positions QB/WR/DB this leaves players out. Grit 7v7+ changes the game by bringing linemen back into the game, allowing linemen the opportunity to single handedly change the outcome of a game. By going head to head, snap for snap with the opposing teams linemen. Time to change the game!
How it works.
Combine:
Each player MUST participate in the Grit combine. The combine will test the player's football IQ, ability, speed and strength. At the end of the combine the player will be awarded an overall score with a highest possible score of 99 overall. If a player reaches a score of 99 overall he will be admitted into the Grit 99 club awarded a 99 club chain!
Draft:
Grit will host a draft where the players will be selected by their coaches to their teams.
Coaches will be allowed to have players from past teams however, the coach will surrender his first draft picks for each of these players. (ie. Jake, Chris, Ally / Round 1, 2 ,3)

Rosters:
After the draft is complete final rosters with all the players picture, stats, birth date, grade, and overall score will be signed off on by the Grit staff and provided to the coach. The roster will be confirmed by the officiating crew before each game.
Team practice:
There will be a team practice once a week. (Team practice is for team strategy not individual performance) If a player is advised by a coach or just wants to work on individual skills he can attend the weekly Grit clinic.
Grit clinic:
The clinic is where players go to work on position specific individual skills. (Team Practice is for team strategy) Having individual practice assures a standard for training.
Games:
Games are 20 minute running clock with a 2 minute pro clock at the end of the game.
Playoffs:
playoffs will be highest seed verses lowest and so fourth. Single elimination with the last 2 teams playing for the championship.
After the dust settles:
After a grueling season if the players are still hungry for football they can tryout for Grit's Travel team the North Carolina Nitro.
